Who knew the government could help you lose weight. USDA's SuperTracker was one of the government innovations recognized yesterday by ACT-IAC at its annual Excellence.gov awards. SuperTracker lets users build a diet and track their weight. (So eating a bag of chips while watching it snow would be frowned upon?) Other winners included: GSA's effort to implement a cloud-based social collaboration and business application platform; IRS' modernization of its data processing; the National Nuclear Security Administration's secure, multi-tenant hybrid community cloud known as YOURcloud; and the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act website won overall for building a site that allows financial institutions, creditors, and landlords to determine if their client is an active service member.
