Yesterday, Cvent opened the doors to its new 130k square foot HQ in Tysons. The event-management software firm moved to a building next to the Silver Line's Greensboro stop will house the over 400 employees it plans to add there in the next three years. This is in addition its current staff of 451. The event drew Va. Gov. Terry McAuliffe (helping Cvent founder Reggie Aggarwal with the gigantic scissors), Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade Maurice Jones, and Fairfax County Economic Development Authority president Jerry Gordon.
