Next year, this underpass in NoMa will be a lot less cavernous and a lot hipper, thanks to designs one artist will install here. The NoMa Parks Foundation is holding a global competition to spruce up the neighborhood's four underpasses, and the org just announced the 10 finalists. Artists and design firms from LA, San Francisco, and even London are in the mix and will display their work to the community in October, when a winner will be chosen. (If any trolls live under the bridge, they better be cultured.)
