Fundrise Co-Founder Dan Miller Parting Ways With Crowdfunding Giant

Dan Miller is parting ways with Fundrise, the online crowdfunding platform he co-founded with his brother three years ago.

Daniel and his brother Ben, Fundrise’s CEO, launched the platform in August 2012. Fundrise has a user base of more than 60,000 investors and is expected to raise up to $150M this year. The DC-based company has offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and plans to open more in select cities by the end of the year, the Commercial Observer reports. There's no word on what Dan’s next step will be or who will be taking over his position.

Just last month, Fundrise announced the expansion of its platform to include international investors from Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. [CO]
