CohnReznick Combines with Watkins Meegan

CohnReznick is already the 10th largest accounting, tax, and advisory firm in the nation, but it just got a little bit bigger, announcing yesterday plans to combine practices with fellow accounting firm Watkins Meegan. (Here's Dave Reznick, co-founder of CohnReznick's predecessor, The Reznick Group.) The deal, which CohnReznick says will close by Nov. 1, adds Watkins Meegan's 200 employees and strong presence in the government contracting, real estate, and non-profit/association fields. Watkins Meegan has offices in Bethesda, Tysons, Herndon, and Annapolis, and is already one of the top 100 accounting, tax, and advisory firms in the nation.
