BlackRock Taps C&W to Lease and Manage Franklin Tower

Cushman & Wakefield has been selected to provide landlord leasing representation and property management for Franklin Tower, which was recently acquired by BlackRock.

The 226k SF Class-A office building is at 1401 Eye St NW on Franklin Square Park next to the McPherson Square Metro Station and just three blocks away from the White House.

Franklin Tower features a full-time concierge, on-site property management, a landscaped roof terrace with expansive views of the area and a private parking garage. The 12-story tower has been awarded an Energy Star label for its operating efficiency on multiple occasions and LEED EB Silver by USGBC in 2010.

Blackrock acquired the property this past summer from Shorenstein Realty Services for $183.9M. There is currently 42k SF available for lease.
