The Bartlett is Vornado’s new 23-story property boasting 699 residential units totaling 782k SF with 40k SF of ground-floor retail, including the neighborhood's first Whole Foods. When completed, it will be one of the biggest residential buildings in the region, and the biggest in Arlington.

The project is on schedule to be completed by the end of this month. The landmark architecture—designed by Torti Gallas and Partners—replaced an industrial eyesore. The new pedestrian streetscape Vornado built along 12th Street S links Crystal City with adjacent Pentagon City.

The Altaire, at 400 Army Navy Dr, will bring 453 new residential units to the neighborhood, a mix of rental and for-sale. It replaces a 250k SF office building left vacant after BRAC. Currently being demolished, it was once known as the Paperclip Building and home to the DOD's Inspector General's office.

Developer LCOR’s ambitious project is comprised of two separate 20-story residential towers that stand around 250 feet tall. The north tower will have condos and the the south tower will have apartments.

Prospective tenants will appreciate its proximity to the Metroway enhanced bus service—DC's first—terminal, as well as the Crystal City and Pentagon City Metro stations, all within walking distance.

Vornado’s proposal for a complete office rehabilitation at 1770 Crystal Drive recently received unanimous Arlington board approval. The former edifice at 1750 Crystal Drive’s concrete facade will undergo a complete glass-and-steel facelift. The developer will also introduce 20k SF of retail and modestly increase the current 220k SF to a little over 230k by consolidating mechanical rooms.
