Shipping Container Condos Coming to Rosedale?

The 1600 block of Kramer Street NE (above) in Rosedale, near the H Street corridor, could become the site of 26 new shipping container condo units with no parking, if one developer has its way, reports District Source. Neighborhood Development Co proposed a 26-unit development with 10 affordable units, designed by Travis Price Architects, the same team responsible for Brookland’s SeaUA project. The other two proposals include Manna Inc’s plan to create 10 houses with parking and four affordable units, and Mi Casa’s plan to develop 12 energy-efficient houses with parking and 10 affordable units. Proposals are due by Feb. 19.
