Mill Creek's Big Week

We told you last week about Mill Creek Residential Trust's just-closed acquisition and development investment with John Hancock on a site in DC's Southwest Waterfront, but it turns out it wasn't the only milestone for the firm. Mill Creek's Sean Caldwell (fourth from left) tells us two Fridays ago, the firm opened a new 492-unit apartment community in west Alexandria (called Modera Tempo), and on Friday closed and began construction on a 484-unit complex near Fort Meade (known as Westside).
