The owners of the massive One Loudoun development in Ashburn are looking to move forward with the project's stadium portion without the group that promised to get it off the ground. As the Loudoun Times first reported, developer Miller & Smith is taking legal action to terminate an agreement with VIP Sports & Entertainment, which had promised to develop and build a stadium at One Loudoun that would house both minor league baseball and soccer teams. VIP signed a ground lease in 2012 with Miller & Smith, which has filed a complaint in Loudoun County to end the agreement since VIP hasn't been able to get the project moving. VIP also owns the proposed Loudoun Hounds baseball team and Virginia Calvary FC soccer club, but the Times says new owners may be sought for those organizations as well.
