City Market at O Wins Highest ULI Honor

City Market at O, the mixed-use, multi-phase project in Shaw by Roadside Development, was one of 10 winners of the Urban Land Institute's Global Awards for Excellence, announced at ULI's annual conference in San Francisco this week.

City Market at O was one of five winners nationwide, and the only one from the DC region. The project, in construction on its final phase, is 1M SF, spanning two city blocks, including the Giant supermarket at the historic O Street Market, two residential buildings and a Cambria Suites hotel.

“It is an incredible honor for our entire team that City Market at O has received this prestigious award,” says Roadside Development founding partner Richard Lake. His team is used to winning awards for the project: it's already won the 2014 Delta Associates award for excellence for best neighborhood impact, the best residential design of 2015 from Washingtonian Magazine and a handful of others.
