Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing’s newest affordable housing community will transform the 27-unit 1960s Carlyn Springs Apartments into a five-story, 104-unit mixed-use building. Designed by KGD Architecture, the $40M-plus project (with ground-floor office space for the new APAH HQ) will include a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units with 47 units reserved for low and very low-income households, 51 units for households earning below 60% of the Area Median Income, and six market-rate units, reports Multi-Housing News. The project broke ground March 11.
