A prime opportunity for developers to build along the Dulles Toll Road in Fairfax County has just hit the market.

NGKF is marketing a 67-acre site next to where General Dynamics is planning to build its new HQ, the Washington Business Journal reports.

For four decades, the Thoburn Family owned the site, which sits north of the Dulles Toll Road on both sides of Hunter Mill Road. After failed attempts to develop the property, it was foreclosed on last year and scooped up by private lenders.

The site still needs county approval for development, but NGKF is marketing it as a potential mixed-use project. It is less than two miles from the terminus of the Silver Line at Wiehle-Reston East. Directly to the west of the site, General Dynamics is planning to build a 190k SF office building for its HQ.
