The 17-Story, 310-Room Hotel At The Live! Casino In Arundel Mills, Md.

Guests began staying Wednesday at the 310-room Live! Hotel in Arundel Mills, an addition to the Maryland Live! casino that opened in 2012.

The Cordish Cos. built the 17-story, 350K SF hotel, which also features two restaurants and a spa, and the company will host a grand opening celebration July 11.

The hotel has 132 deluxe king rooms, 126 deluxe double queen rooms, 33 signature suites, two luxury suites, 10 presidential suites, five spa suites and three penthouses.

The food and beverage offerings at the hotel include restaurant David's, open 24 hours, The Lobby Bar at David's and Cafe Luckies. It also includes a spa with a variety of services and an outdoor patio, plus a gym with strength and cardio machines. The facility also features a 1,500-seat concert venue, which Cordish plans to expand to 4,000 seats next year.

Maryland has six casinos, led by the MGM National Harbor, the $1.4B casino and hotel that opened in December 2016 and accounted for 40% of the state's gaming revenue last month.
