A recently renovated resort and spa on a 476-acre site along the Potomac River in Leesburg has traded hands for $133M.
Bethesda-based LaSalle Hotel Properties sold the resort earlier this month to Hong Kong-based Dejia LLC, the firm's first U.S. hotel acquisition, the Loudoun Times-Mirror reports. JLL's Robert Webster, Tim Southard and John Harper brokered the deal.
The 296-room resort features five restaurants, 45 holes of golf, three tennis courts and five pools. It also includes 55K SF of meeting space, a 9,500 SF grand ballroom, a 12K SF spa and a 126-seat amphitheater. It has been managed by Destination Hotels since 2012.
Now in its 26th year of operation, the resort just completed a multimillion-dollar renovation aimed at attracting high-end tourists from beyond Loudoun County.
