Vornado CEO Steps Down

Vornado Realty Trust president and CEO Mike Fascitelli (pictured with DLA Piper global co-chair of real estate Jay Epstien) is resigning, the REIT announced this morning. The company says chairman Steven Roth, who served as CEO form 1989-2009, will assume the top spot again. On the firm's Q4 earnings call moments ago, Mike says the decision was entirely his, and that the transition should be "seamless." He'll remain on the firm's board of trustees. (Mike's been a great speaker for us in the past, and we want him to know that he will always be eligible to speak for us even if he becomes just an expert on beaches.)
