Yesterday, the firm closed on a new land and construction loan with lender Helaba to begin construction on its new project at 7535 Old Georgetown Rd in Bethesda, which you might recognize as the old United Bank branch, shown above. Kettler says it'll demolish the old building soon and begin construction work mid-year on Element 28, a 101-unit apartment complex with ground-floor retail. The United Bank branch has been moved up the street to 7845 Wisconsin.
