New Mt. Vernon Square Hotel?

Conventioneers will have a new place to nap. On Monday, an undisclosed buyer (using the entity MHF DC IV, LLC) purchased a land site at 465 New York Ave for $7M. Demers Real Estate's Ed Demers repped the private seller in the deal, along with colleague Jon Wilson, whotells us the buyer is a national hotel owner and that the site is approved for a 123k SF hotel. The site includes an existing (but vacant) three-story apartment building and is right next to the Yale West Apartments.
