Boston Properties Adds to Roster

Boston Properties looks like it'll be adding a bit more to its Reston Town Center lineup. The firm announced yesterday it's agreed to purchase the last remaining land parcel in the development's urban core for approximately $27M. The deal--which it says will close by the end of Q1--comes after the firm announced plans in October to purchase 100% of Founders Square (above) by 2016, which will give it near complete ownership in the Town Center. The firm's Ray Ritchey tells us prospects are rosy in Reston, as office rents "are holding firm in the upper $40s to $50s."
