Bisnow Exclusive: U Street Gets New Pizzeria

The U Street Corridor will be getting a new pizza spot. Bisnowlearned that EastBanc and partner Jamestown signed &pizza to a new 10-year lease at its 1250 U Street property (replacing Quiznos, above), with a grand opening scheduled for mid-May. The casual pizzeria will make the U Street location its second in the District, joining another restaurant on H Street. The property, which sits directly above the U Street Metro, was purchased by EastBanc andJamestown last April. StreetSense's Gary Taubin reped &pizza.
