Ben Miller to Investors: "We're Coming for You"

Real estate crowdfunding pioneer Fundrise (and co-founders Ben Miller, above, and brother Dan) is riding high after the announcement yesterday of $31M in financing. But Fundrise isn't finished with the fundraising. After scoring investments from the likes of Silverstein Properties CEO Tal Kerret, former LoopNet CEO Rich Boyle, and Chinese social networking firm Renren, Ben says the firm will seek more investment from companies and high-net worth individuals. "We're not just looking for investors, but strategic investors. So Sam Zell, Steve Roth, Bill Ackman: we're coming for you." Messages from potential investors were flooding in after yesterday's announcement, Ben says; the $31M will aid Fundrise in opening new offices across the country (Texas, LA, and Chicago are big targets).
