Extendicare Inc is buying Harvest Retirement Community, a 64-suite project in Tillsonburg, ON, for $28.4M. The property (above) is being acquired from a partnership owned by BayBridge Seniors Housing and Nautical Lands Group. Extendicare said it’s also reached agreements to purchase two senior living homes in Saskatchewan from Brightwater Senior Living Group, for $50.2M. Last month the company, which is also developing three retirement communities in Simcoe, Bolton and Uxbridge, ON (304 suites total) acquired Empire Crossing Retirement Community, a new 64-suite independent/enhanced living facility in Port Hope.
