Empire Starts Construction on Flagship Mega-Condo

Empire Communities has broken ground on Eau Du Soleil, a 1,285-unit, two-tower project on the Etobicoke waterfront that’s one of the largest condo developments in the GTA. Here’s the Empire exec team in front of a 43-foot excavator used during the event, which also included an aerial ballet performance by Les Oiseaux Du Paradis. Designed by Zeidler Partnership and E.I. Richmond Architects, Eau Du Soleil will have two towers (63 and 49 floors) connected by a six-storey podium. Empire's no stranger to Humber Bay, having built its Beyond the Sea community just across the street from Eau Du Soleil, which EVP Paul Golini (second from left) says represents his firm's flagship development.
