Flagstone Property Group, which is developing the mixed-use Island Gardens (pictured), announced that the deep-water marina part of the project will be open in time for Art Basel this year. The marina on Watson Island will be able to hold 50 yachts up to 550 feet long. The facility will clearly be a link to the rest of the world: among other features, it will have its own customs and immigration office, the Miami Herald reports. Plans for Island Gardens call for residential, retail, hotel, and restaurant space. [MH]
