Heitman Buys Big in Seattle Again

Chicago-based Heitman has acquired the recently completed 298-unit Dimension apartment tower at Third and Cedar in Belltown for $144M. The deal comes not long after the investor's acquisition of another new downtown apartment high-rise, the Premiere on Pine. The acquisitions come at a time of continued demand for high-end apartments such as Dimension, and rising rents (up market-wide since this time last year by 8.3%). [PSBJ]
