California-based Glen Una Management recently sold Greensview Apartment Homes to Seattle-based Goodman Real Estate Inc. for $28.4M, according to public records.

The 144-unit apartment building is located at 1520 West Casino Road in Everett. The last sale of note took place in 1991 when Kenneth and Gloria Levy purchased it from Himmel Corp. for $5.6M.

Greensview has a golf course setting with close proximity to Boeing and Paine Field, to which Alaska Airlines recently added commercial flights.

The property features one- and two-bedroom floor plans with wood-burning fireplaces, dishwashers, in-unit washers and dryers, patios and balconies. The property has a swimming pool, a clubhouse and a fitness center.

Berkadia’s Senior Managing Director Kenny Dudunakis and senior directors David Sorensen and Ben Johnson of its Seattle office and Managing Director Kelly Witherspoon of Berkadia’s Austin, Texas, office completed the sale on behalf of the seller.

As the cost of construction and doing business rises in Seattle, more businesses and people are moving north to Everett.

The Port of Everett recently purchased the Kimberly-Clark mill property for $33M on the Everett waterfront, which is undergoing a massive renovation. The site includes 2,500 feet of waterfront, which will be used for maritime activities. The rest will be used for aquatic management and public access. Nearby, SeaLevel Properties developed Everett Waterfront Apartments. Hotel Indigo opened last August.
