The 17-unit Sunset Villa in Ballard recently sold for $5.45M. Marysville Apartments LLC purchased the 56-year-old building from Cadence Real Estate.

The recently renovated four-story building includes 12 one-bedroom and five two-bedroom units. The recent improvements include vinyl plank flooring, quartz countertops, new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and bathroom vanities and tub surroundings.

The property is within walking distance of downtown Ballard and transit that connects to the University of Washington and other destinations in the city.

“Ballard is one of Seattle’s most desirable locations for all renter profiles, from millennials to empty nesters, and when properties in the area come on the market, they generate a lot of interest from investors,” Colliers International’s Tim McKay said in a statement. “Sunset Villa was an opportunity to acquire a turn-key asset in a Class A location.”

Colliers International’s McKay, Dan Chhan and Sam Wayne and Marcus & Millichap’s Spencer Clark arranged the transaction.
