Pre-Sales of $600 Oculus Rift Start Today

Starting today, Facebook's Oculus VR is taking pre-orders for Oculus Rift virtual reality headsets.

The headsets, now available at the Oculus VR website, run $599 (not including taxes and shipping), and include a headset, sensor, remote, cables and Xbox One controller.

The expected ship date is in March.

Every pre-ordered Rift will come bundled with two games (so you can get your game on before looking at some more business-oriented uses for your headset).

Facebook acquired Oculus VR for $2B in 2014. At the end of last year, the company was looking for expansion space in San Francisco.
