We know that Qualcomm is looking for space in the Bay Area, so we found our way into its private fete last week at S.F.'s swanky RN74 to celebrate the Uplinq conference Sept. 18 and 19. It was the first year the wireless conference made its way up to the Bay (so far it's been in San Diego near the chip giant's mothership). We met up with some of the heavyweights helping shape what's in your smartphone and other can't-live-without devices: Qualcomm Technologies SVP of public management Raj Talluri is joined by SVP Laurie Yoler, who's based in Silicon Valley, and senior director of product management Sy Choudhury.
