Lunch At LUMINA

We stopped by Lend Lease's topping out ceremony yesterday for LUMINA's first tower, where 750 people from construction, ownership and marketing flooded the second floor at 201 Folsom. Special guests of honor included investors from China Vanke Co (they just so happened to be in town this week, so we're told the event for the Main Street tower was a little last minute). We spotted a live band and mammoth-sized buffet line for tacos (unclear if Vanke's table was called first). When done in 2016, Tishman Speyer's 656 luxury condo units will be spread across two towers (42 and 37 stories) and two eight-story podium buildings around a central courtyard.
