KTGY Architecture + Planning Wins Top Honors At NAHB National Awards

KTGY Architecture + Planning received several top honors at the National Sales and Marketing Awards gala held earlier this month and hosted by the National Association of Home Builders National Sales and Marketing Council. Among the highest honors was Master Planned Community of the Year for Trumark Communities’ Wallis Ranch in Dublin, which KTGY designed with Dahlin Group and Gates & Associates as the landscape architect.

Wallis Ranch is a 184-acre master planned community with over 800 new homes within eight neighborhoods. Over half of the acreage has been designated for parks, open space and water quality basin. Community amenities include trails and a clubhouse with a pool and fitness center.

Cleo at Playa Vista

This single-level-living complex in a four-story building won a Gold Award for Best Architectural Design of an Attached Home Plan. The building in Playa Vista, Calif., by Brookfield Residential contains units with direct access to an elevator opening to a personal lobby space and access to a private three-bay garage. With only one unit per floor, residents have an abundance of natural light. Residents have access to a resort gym, public parks, and nearby restaurants, entertainment and offices.

Mason at Playa Vista

This single-level-living building also in Playa Vista garnered a Silver Award for Attached Community of the Year. The six-plex by Brookfield Residential includes a mix of modern and traditional architecture with brick and beachside accents. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room and a private patio offer views. Each unit has a private two-car garage.

Regency at Summerlin, The Wakefield Plan

The 55+ gated community in Las Vegas won the Silver Award for Best Architectural Design of a Single-Family Detached Home 2,000 to 2,900 SF. The development by Toll Brothers offers three distinct home collections. Contemporary desert exteriors feature stone and neutral color palettes that contrast with the clean modern lines of the home. Courtyards offer entertaining locations leading into a foyer with raised ceilings and sightlines through a covered back patio. The sleeping space and entertaining space are on separate sides of the house.

Los Altos, The Verano Plan

This development in Las Vegas from Toll Brothers earned the Silver Award for Best Architectural Design of a Single-Family Detached Home 3,501 to 4k SF. Buyers can customize their homes based on their specific lifestyle and can choose from two different lot sizes.

Anthem House

The Baltimore complex from The Bozzuto Group attained the Silver Award for On-the-Boards Community (Under Construction On – Not Yet Open For Sale or Rent). The 292 mixed-use project faces Baltimore Harbor and features a Z-shaped plan creating two distinct courtyards facing the city and harbor. The building includes a 3,500 SF sky lounge and residential tower entry. Metal tile steel/zinc alloy on the façade reflect light to activate the urban skyline. The building includes 19k SF of retail.
