Developer Proposes 360 Rental Units in East Oakland

A preliminary application has been filed for a large rental project of up to 360 units in East Oakland. The site, located at 10550 International Blvd, was previously an auto dealership and currently houses a small retail building. AMG & Associates is handling the entitlements for developer Pacific Cos and filed the application, reports the San Francisco Business Times. The project is in its very early stages as Pacific still has to purchase the property. East Oakland remains one of the most affordable parts of the city, but has not attracted much interest in major development. [SFBT]
