Bisnow Scoop: Guess Who Just Bought 815 Tennessee

Bisnow's sources tell us a JV of Grosvenor and DM Development bought the site at close to $275k/unit, or about $19M. It's unclear when the developers will get to work on the fully entitled 69-unit project, but it does mark Grosvenor's second foray into the S.F. market; we all remember the company's insane S.F. debut at the intersection of two of the city's priciest neighborhoods. The six-story luxury apartment building delivered last year, accented by hip Zio Ziegler art. The site was marketed by Newmark Cornish & Carey, which didn't respond to a request for comment.
