Three companies will fill approximately 175K SF of research and development space at Bassett Technology Park in Santa Clara, California.

Cushman & Wakefield represented Hines, executing the leases for the three companies establishing headquarters in Silicon Valley.

EOTech LLC, which develops and manufactures optics, signed a 73K SF lease; Intevac, a thin-film processing system supplier, signed a 75K SF lease; and Evoloh, a clean-tech company, signed a 25K SF lease.

A Hines-sponsored fund acquired the technology park in 2020.

Bassett Technology Park is a single-story, six-building campus at 3508-3580 Bassett St. in Santa Clara, between the 101 Freeway and Montague Expressway.

PEOPLE

Brooks Pedder, Tony Binswanger and Bo Harkins joined CBRE’s Walnut Creek office to facilitate selling and leasing industrial and logistics properties in Contra Costa, Solano and Napa counties. Pedder will serve as vice chairman, Binswanger will be executive vice president and Harkins will be first vice president.

Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of a nearly 7K SF retail property at 1423-1427 E. 14th Street in San Leandro, California, for $2.95M.

FINANCING

Pacific West Builders paid nearly $3.5M for a San Jose affordable housing project site that is part of the Stevens Creek Promenade, Bay Area News Group reported, citing public records.
