Grand Canyon U Embarks On Major Expansion

Grand Canyon University plans $550M in new construction in the next few years, including the $180M that's already underway, such as three new residence halls. Also under construction are new parking garages, an engineering building, a student center and a 3,000-seat soccer stadium.

Future plans call for the building of two apartment-style dorms, another parking garage and Division I athletics improvements, all in 2017, the Phoenix Business Journal reports. The year after that, the university will develop more student housing and more classrooms. [PBJ]
