The last year has seen strong numbers in Delaware's economy, and according to Buccini/Pollin Group co-president Chris Buccini that won't be changing anytime soon. “The Delaware commercial market has thrived over the past 12 months," Chris, who will be a speaker at the event, tells us. The overall economy has improved, but the reason Delaware's doing so well is more fundamental. "The northern Delaware economy has transformed into a financial services hub no longer dominated by a handful of global firms, but by many," Chris explains.

When the global firms in Delaware grow, they expand significantly, Chris adds. One reason they're able to do so—it's a main attraction for the region —is because of its supply of well-trained employees. That pool of talents goes back to MBNA and its culture. Last month, Buccini/Pollin completed the purchase of two New Castle County office parks totaling 485k SF, bringing the company's share of the Delaware office market to 3.2M SF.
