As for the firm’s own activity: it’s working on a brownfields redevelopment of a 104-acre site in Linden, NJ, as a mixed-use project, which will include demolition, site environmental remediation, rezoning, and construction. Away from work, Coni serves on the board for Fort Worth-based The WARM Place, which provides grief support services to children mourning the death of a loved one.

Alan adds that clients have cash to invest but are waiting for others—most of the firm’s clients are institutions, which don’t want to take a risk first.
