Industry City Fills 2M SF in Two Years

Industry City is proving to be quite a success. Two years after the site was transformed into and innovation economy hub, they're already announcing that it has leased out 2M SF to more than 250 companies.

Tenants include 70 old-timers like Virginia Dare, which has leased space for nearly a century, along with newcomers like Time Inc, and the Brooklyn Nets.

More than 1.3M SF has gone to new leases, while the other 700k SF belongs to renewals and expansions. The hub has also created 2,000 jobs, focusing on local hiring initiatives.
