Hunt Mortgage Group Promotes CIO James Flynn To President

James Flynn has been named president of Hunt Mortgage Group, effective immediately. James was previously overseeing day-to-day business activity as Hunt’s executive managing director and CIO. He will retain the latter title.

In addition to managing 1,100 multifamily housing properties, a 120,000-unit equity portfolio, James served as an adviser for the firm’s CMBS and high-yield debt funds and assists with its capital raising, business development, investment and asset management services.

A member of the California State Bar, ULI and NAREIM, James earned a JD from Columbia University and BS from Georgetown University. Prior to joining Hunt, he practiced law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers.
