Ariel Property Advisors Launches Commercial Mortgage Division

Ariel Property Advisors, a brokerage that’s historically focused on NYC investment sales, has announced it's launching a commercial mortgage brokerage division.

Ariel’s tapped Paul McCormick, who comes to the new role from Arbor Commercial Mortgage, where he was assistant VP of sales. The new division will broker financing deals for multifamily, commercial and retail properties as well as development sites.

The expansion comes as the divide between investment sales brokerage and commercial mortgage brokerage is being bridged, with firms like Meridian Capital Group and Ackman Ziff Real Estate recently expanding into investment sales.
