The lottery to get an affordable unit at Downtown Brooklyn’s City Point opened last week. 150 of the development’s 200 affordable units will be for those making up to 165% of the area median income, which means a family of four can snag a unit with a household income of $142,395. The unit mix includes 76 studios deemed affordable, reports DNAInfo. Out of those, two will go for just $500, and will be for those making $24,000 or less, at least 12 will rent for $651 and be open to those making up to $30,000.
