We ran into Larry Silverstein and his bride, Klara, as they arrived at Thursday night's NY AIR Society fundraiser for National Jewish Health at Tribeca's Three Sixty. (We were conveniently standing outside donning our heels as the couple arrived. Larry may use a driver or car service, but Bisnow's preferred mode of transportation is flip flops.) The doorman almost carded the 81-year-old Larry, and Klara pointed out that if you turn her husband's ID around, it does indeed say "18." Larry actually doesn't hit the big 8-1 til May 30.
Lift from the knees, Roger. Silverstein Properties' Roger Silverstein honored JLL NY prez Peter Riguardi at the event. We hear that thing was so heavy, Roger and Peter had to rehearse the hand-off.
One big happy family: Trinity Real Estate Partners Jason Pizer,Linda Riguardi, Larry, Peter, and National Jewish Health CEO Michael Salem. Jason and Roger spearheaded the event, which raised $361k.
