Lone Star has wasted no time breaking up its recently acquired Dutch residential portfolio.
The private equity firm has divided the 13 assets in the portfolio and sold one residential complex, De Hoeve, to Dutch project developer and asset manager Eagle Real Estate for an estimated €22M, Vastgoedmarkt reported.

De Hoeve was part of the portfolio Lone Star bought from Catella Investment Management on Sept. 30, with the transfer of the ownership of De Hoeve to Eagle RE taking place the same day.
"This was a complex transaction that we were able to complete in a short period of time," Aart de Jong, managing partner at Eagle RE, said in a statement.
Consisting of 104 apartments and 38 parking spaces, De Hoeve is located in the neighbourhood of Woensel near the city center of Eindhoven and well connected to stores and public transport.
As demand for housing grows across the city, Eagle RE will invest in sustainable and maintenance upgrades for De Hoeve so it remains an "attractive option" for potential residents, the firm said in a statement.
Through this acquisition, Eagle RE said it aims to continue expanding its residential portfolio, which includes two residential complexes in Enschede and Sommelsdijk totaling 65 apartments it acquired in March 2026.
The manager mainly focuses on acquiring existing stock in key regions, alongside active management and sales. Based in Amersfoort, Eagle RE is active in the Netherlands and Germany.
