Coke And Pepsi Wars: Coke To Launch Bottled Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee Next Year

Coca-Cola is teaming up with Dunkin’ Donuts to take on Starbucks and Pepsi with a new bottled, ready-to-drink coffee product.

PepsiCo’s and Starbucks’ joint venture produced the best-selling Starbucks Frappuccino concoction, but it may not be the undisputed king for long—Coke and Dunkin’ are making their own bottled coffee to get in on the fast growing pre-made coffee market, the Wall Street Journal reports.

And it’s not a market to ignore—sales of ready-to-drink coffee products jumped 14% to $2.54B last year, marking the fourth straight year of at least 10% growth, according to data from Euromonitor International. [WSJ]
