Construction Begins on Hines 220k SF T3 Development in Minneapolis

Construction is underway on Hines' 220k SF T3 office development in downtown Minneapolis. The seven-story mass timber office building is in the North Loop neighborhood and was designed by Vancouver-based Michael Green Architecture in association with the DLR Group. The building will offer more than 12k SF of ground-floor retail space and office space on floors two through seven, according to Minnesota Real Estate Journal. Additional features include a 10k SF tenant amenity area that includes social workspace, a fitness center and a rooftop patio. T3, which stands for timber, transit and technology, was inspired by historic brick-and-timber buildings in the North Loop. The building is scheduled to open in early fall 2016[MREJ]
