Meridian Realty Plans Senior Housing Near Brentwood

Meridian Realty Advisors is planning a 116-bed assisted living and memory care development on 6.6 acres at Edmondson Pike and Cloverland Drive near Brentwood. The developer has submitted plans to the Metro Planning Commission that show the property will include 62K SF of assisted living use, 22K SF of memory care and 65 parking spaces, the Tennessean reports.

The commission will consider a request for specific plan-residential zoning on the property on July 13.

Meridian Realty recently inked a deal to buy 15 acres from retired insurance broker James Walker, including the site of the senior housing development. The company plans to donate the remaining seven-plus acres to Metro Nashville government for use as a park.
