GREAT NEW YORKERS!

Congrats to City Council speaker Christine Quinn, NYU prez John Sexton, and Jack Resnick & Sons’ chairman Burt Resnick, who were honored by over 1,000 attendees and Mayor Mike last week at the New York Building Congress’ 90th Anniversary Leadership Awards Luncheon. AECOM CEO John Dionisio (above, with Burt, John, Christine, Hizzoner, NYBC chair Peter Marchetto, and NYBC prez Dick Anderson) dubbed the honorees as pioneers in their respective fields, as well as selfless New Yorkers. Christine’s contributions, for one, have made it possible for the Bloomberg administration to rezone one-sixth of the entire city. John was saluted for his academic and community leadership, as well as his stewardship of NYU’s local and international expansion plans, while Burt was presented with the Jack and Lewis Rudin Award for Service to NYC.
