Trevecca Nazarene Kicks Off New Multifamily Development

Construction is set to begin on the Flats of Walden Grove, a 126-unit apartment development adjacent to Trevecca Nazarene University, which owns the property on Murfreesboro Pike. Franklin-based Vita Residential is developing the building, and then will manage it for Trevecca upon completion in 2017.

The development might help spur further interest in the Murfreesboro corridor, which hasn't seen nearly as much interest from investors and developers as, say, a submarket like SoBro, the Nashville Business Journal reports. This is the university's second multifamily developmentcoming after the 34-unit Walden Village last year. [NBJ]
