The Stahlman Building, which the Mathews family restored and revived as an apartment building during the 2000s, is slated to be sold. A Philadelphia investor inked a contract to buy the building at 211 Union St, as well as the nearby lofts above the Spaghetti Factory at 160 2nd Ave N, the Nashville Business Journal reports.
Together, the two properties contain more than 170 apartment units, and the Stahlman Building has 11k SF of retail space. The location is a block from the Metro Courthouse and the lawn on which the annual Live on the Green concert series is held. The Stahlman Building was originally developed 110 years ago and is 12 stories tall. [NBJ]
