Florida Developer Wants To Break Into Nashville Market With Apartments In Franklin

The Bainbridge Cos., which is HQ'd in the Palm Beach area, is planning a 271-unit apartment development in Franklin. The 7.5-acre site is between two proposed office buildings. The property would be Bainbridge's first in Tennessee and aims to take advantage of strong job growth in Williamson County, the Nashville Business Journal reports.

The site, which is at 151 Cool Springs Blvd., is owned by Franklin Land Co., an entity registered to James Carbine, president of Franklin homebuilder Carbine & Associates.

Bainbridge has developed apartments up and down the Eastern Seaboard, including projects in Florida, Washington, DC, Maryland, New York, North Carolina and Virginia.
